Volunteer!

We need people like you!

WELCOME

As a non-profit organization, volunteers are crucial to keeping Little Theatre running. At each event, as many as 10 volunteers perform a variety of tasks such as setting up the theater before shows, selling tickets, serving concessions, hanging posters and cleaning up the theater after shows. And they also have a lot of fun!

PERKS OF VOLUNTEERING

Volunteers are often able to hear some or even all of the performance for an event they work. We provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment working alongside music fans of all ages from diverse backgrounds.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Many roles may also require speech and the ability to communicate in English. Some tasks involve physical exertion, requiring the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Additionally, money handling roles require basic math skills, and some retail experience.

THANK YOU TO OUR SUPPORTERS

LTA activities are funded, in part, by a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council through an appropriation from the MN State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund. Support also comes from the Minnesota State Arts Board, the McKnight Foundation, Blandin Foundation, Mardag Foundation and from individual dollars and hours contributed by art lovers, advocates, artists and community members.
